Chartbooks - Disable Save Any Changes on Switch (Request)

It doesn't look like this feature is an option? Could you all add it if not? I think a fair amount of users setup Chartbooks for a dedicated symbol then when switching Chartbooks like via a Control Bar the popup dialog window appears 'Save Any Changes Made to Chartbook' disrupting any chance of a fast symbol switch from chartbook to chartbook. Any chance to add that functionality here? General Settings --> Chartbooks --> - Close Existing Chartbooks When Open Chartbook Group - Auto-Save Chartbooks - Auto-Save Chartbooks Interval - Disable Chartbooks Save on Close (would be great!!!) The options for automatically saving the chartbooks already exist. Refer to the following and the item below it: General Settings Window: Auto-Save Chartbooks and Spreadsheets (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Chartbooks) There is not an option for disabling the query to save when closing a chartbook. There is the option to disable the query when exiting completely from Sierra Chart. John - thanks for the reply. Sorry that may have been confusing. I am aware of those settings that's why I copied them above. What I am looking for is the ability to Disable Chartbook Save on Close. Auto-save, understood got it. Save on Exit of Sierra Chart, understood got it. I want to configure a bunch of chartbooks, manually save the chartbook, then be able to quickly switch between them without the dialog prompt to Save Chartbook every time from a control bar button. I only want to have only one Chartbook open and the control bar button has the option 'Close Existing Chartbook' when switching, which brings up the 'Save any changes made to chartbook' dialog. I need to bypass that. |
