Laggy Second Instance

I run two instances. I have not had any problems with the second instance in the past. All of the sudden it has been extremely laggy and often gives me the "Not Responding" message. I have not done anything different to it and I've made sure I have the current version downloaded. Any ideas what might be wrong? Thank you.

It seems to be working now. I guess it was just taking a while to get things loaded, even though it seemed like everything was already loaded and I wasn't getting any messages about data still loading.
