I notice my tick and advance decline charts are realtime and they are constantly moving, but the $vix symbol and most of the symbols are delayed and i need to shut off then connect my data feed to constantly see the updated price. Is viewing the $vix and futures symbols with live second to second feed even possible with sierra chart?

Yes of course.We see you have activated the Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical Exchange Data Feed on your account. But you are using the "SC Historical Data" service. What broker/trading service do you have a futures trading account with? Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Prerelease. Select "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings". What is the Service at the top left set to? We see the only exchange you have activated on the Sierra Chart data feed is CBOE Indices. This is the only one that will come in real-time but we need to know what the Service in Sierra Chart is set to to make sure it will update in real time. And you have to update Sierra Chart. To get real-time CME futures data from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed there are 2 things that you must do. You must have a funded trading account with a supported futures trading service and you need to activate the CME exchange. Ok i updated my Sierra chart. My current broker is not compatible. What will i need to activate to get (SPY)($IXB)($XY)($IXV) etc, In real time ? Or do i also need a compatible broker for that too?

We apologize for the delay. A compatible broker is not needed unless you want data for CME markets at reduced exchange fees. What you need to do to get data for those markets is set the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service settings >> Service to "SC Exchange Data". And activate exchanges that the symbols are on.
