[Programming Help] - I HAVE A #12 PACKAGE BUT SOMETHING IS WRONG

1] 2024-01-29 07:07:03 UTC | Username : lello1971 | | Status : Open I HAVE A #12 PACKAGE BUT SOMETHING IS WRONG I PURCHASED IT AND I CUT AND PASTE SOME TOOLS FROM MY G7FX COURSE TO SIERRA CHARTS BUT EVERY TIME I TRY TO OPEN AN INTRADAY CHART IT COMES OUT BLACK AND IN A YELLOW RECTENGULAR BOX IT DISCRIBS THAT THAT SYMBOL CAN NOT BE FOUND.I CAN ONLY OPEN THE HISTORICAL CHARTS WHY? A SUGESTED ANSWER FROM A FRIEND THAT HAS EXPERIENCE IN SIERRA CHARTS TOLD ME THAT I NEED A BROCKAGE ACCOUNT TO ACTIVATE MY INTRADAY CHARTS. NOW THAT I STATE THIS, I ALSO WANTED TO MENTION THAT I PURCHASED AS WELL A APEX TRADED FUNDED ACCOUNT WICH FUNDS THE ACCOUNT AFTER I HOLD A CERTAIN AMOUNT ON THEIR PRE-ACCOUNT BALANCE IN A $1500 PROFIT ON TOP OF THE PRE-FUNDED ACCOUNT, I'M SURE YOU HERD ABOUT THEM, WELL THIS SAID I WAS WOUNDERING IF THIS APEX ACCOUNT COUNTS AS A BROCKAGE ACCOUNT AND IF NOT HOW ABOUT AN EXTERNAL BROCKAGE ACCOUNT LIKE TD-AMERITRADE . MY INTEREST IS GET THE CHARTS GOING AND USING MY G7FX DOWNLOAD TOOLS WHICH HAS BEEN CUT AND PASTE ALREADY TO THE SIERRA CHARTS BUT AS STATED ABOVE I AM NOT ABLE TO OPEN INTRADAY CHARTSAND OF COURSE CONECT MY APEX TRADED FUNDED ACCOUNT TO MY SIERRA CHARTS, I WISH TO NOT TO OPEN A BROCKAGE ACCOUNT UNLESS ITS NECCESSARY IN ORDER TO USE THE SIEERA CHARTS AND ALL THE ABOVE AS I STATED . The first thing you need to do is to open the Chartbooks for which you are having an issue, and then select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service". This will update the symbols in the chartbook to the symbols you need for the service you are connected to. Keep in mind, all services use a different symbology. That should take care of your main issue. But, you are not setup to get any real-time data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. But we do give free real-time for FOREX, CFDs, Crypto Currencies, and Market Statistics. So if you only need real-time data for those, or if the delayed streaming data is good enough for you, then you do not need a brokerage account. You would only need a brokerage account if you are wanting data from the CME Group. In this case, an account with a Prop Firm will not work, as it needs to be a personal, live, funded, futures trading account. You also need to be able to connect to that account at least once a month to verify your non-professional standing for the CME Group by connecting your Sierra Chart software to this account. We do not have support for TD Ameritrade, this will not work.
