Hi Support, I want to connect to Topstep as per this article http://help.topsteptrader.com/knowledgebase/articles/211607-sierra-chart-connection-instructions but also want to keep my current live broker account available. What is the best way to achieve this? Should i install another instance of Sierrachart? Do this work with my current subscription? thanks |

Yes, definitely install another copy of Sierra Chart following the instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/MultipleServices.html And use your existing Sierra Chart account to log into that copy. Yes. If you want to use the Sierra Chart data feed in both copies of Sierra Chart, then you need to add a second market data connection for 20 USD.

Are any orders sent to the server or local to my Sierra chart?

When Trade >> Trade simulation Mode On is disabled, all orders are sent to the connected trading service.
