Dear Support,

Thank you for always being here to help.

I have a question about the Numbers Bars Background Coloring Methods

Background coloring method

Shade of Colors - I would like to see it based on (Volume and Delta) the darker colors show more volume and delta whereas the lighter colors show lighter colors (Picture attached)

When there is a negative delta it should be red and a positive delta will be blue (based on my color settings as in the picture-study settings) (Picture attached)

Can you guide me on which I should choose in the section documents of the Column # Background Coloring Method study Input as there are multiple formulas to choose from and I do not know which one is related to my question, above

Thank you for your support

Rodney

The option that gives you what you want is called "Based on Dominant Total Volume - Actual". Refer to the information on this coloring option here:

Thank you for your help I managed to set it up.

Still have 2 questions:

1. As you can see in the attached photo, some numbers are hidden, i have tried to look into the study number bar ID1, but can't find out the answer, is it because of imbalance? is it IN91 that I need to take out. or it is a color setting?

2. why is the information to understand in Chart setting (Bar period value)?

Thank you for your help

1. This is a coloring issue. You must have one of your colors set to White, and your numbers are displayed as White, which is why you can not see them.

2. We do not understand your question.

1. The colors for the background of the Numbers Bars is controlled by the "Column # Range 0-3 Up/Down" colors. Refer to the following:
Numbers Bars: Column # Range 3 Up Color

One or more of these items must be set to "White", which is why you are getting the white background. You also have your text displayed in White, so a White Background with a White Text will mean you can not see the text. You need to change the background coloring to colors for which you can see the text you want.

2. Refer to the following:

One of the images you provided is a TPO chart, so we do not understand how this relates.

Please get us your chart by following these instructions, and we'll take a look:

We are not seeing the White background as you show in your original post. Attached is an image of what we see when we open your chartbook. Everything looks correct for the way you have the Study setup.

We are wondering if what you are really referring to is that you are not able to view all the numbers at each level. You are setup to view both the Bid and the Ask and you should see them as ### x ###. There are a number of places where you may not be able to see one or the other. The reason for this is that you are using the same colors to color the Numbers using the format specified in the "Column 1 Text Coloring Method", so there are times when the background and the text are the same color, so you will not see them.

The solution to this is to use a different set of colors for the numbers and be sure the color are opposing for all the levels. Refer to the following;
