Hi, I am trading coffee and I am having issues with SC. The price multiplier is set to 100 but SC does not apply this correctly to the current trade. I can go in and adjust the data but the second another trade takes place it displays the price as 1.80 instead of 180 Despite the price being displayed as 1.80, the right hand scale reads 180. I tried taking off all the price multipliers and working with 1.80 but this too results in the same problem - an unusable chart. Please help |

Thanks, I prefer to multiply to add the Gann levels but even without multipliers it doesn't work. I can send a chart with all multipliers off. It looks identical. Thanks |

This has now been resolved. Update the symbol settings as explained here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettingsSteps The Real-time and Historical Price Multipliers in the Chart Settings need to be set to 1. You will need to re-download the data in the chart by selecting Edit >>Delete All Data and Download. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Dear SC Please help This problem has recurred and the fix did not work this time. I have rolled over my sugar (SB) from October to March. October displays correctly but March doesnt - using exactly the same settings. I tried the symbol reset/update dozens of times. I tried adding a multiplier to the March chart. I had the same problem I had with KC in the past. This time, full resets and changing all the numbers did not work. The October SB works fine as you can see but the March doesnt. Daily charts work fine but THe intraday doesnt. Please help. |

Dear SC, Please help. It is doing it again. I tried the reset again and it didnt work. The October contract still works but this is of little use to me since wave 3 will be in play in October. One thing I notice is that the correct price is displayed on the right - but the chart is wrong. The daily charts work fine. It is only the intraday. Please help me with this. Thanks |

We are checking on this now. For the record you are using Interactive Brokers. Not CTS this time.

yes that is correct. I get the CME data from SC real time feed but some of the things I trade are NYBOT/ICE and not included in the feed - so I pay the fee to IB. I cannot keep changing data feeds - I cannot use the CME ones without the IB connection anyway.

Hello, I am having this problem now with March Cotton on the NYBOT. also with interactive brokers This is a recurring problem with me each time I roll over the contracts. The reset did not work. As soon as I go intraday the price goes from 62 to 0.62 Please, if you could fix this permanently for the NYBOT commodities I would be must appreciative. Currently working March Cotton CTH15 But the problem recurs when I rollover KC (coffee), SB (sugar), OJ (orange). I love SC and this is the only bug. Please if you can fix March cotton ASAP because form the daily, it is setting up for a trade. I need to be able to go intraday to execute. With thanks, M |

May be Interactive Brokers has changed their price formatting for the symbols. Otherwise, this is not making sense to us. We need to see an image of one of these charts. Hi, http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1415628905307.png Please if you can help me with the NYBOT ones. there are trades brewing. as for the CT, you will see that the price displayed on the right is 62 but it has gone down to 0.62 in the interim. if i adjust the data manually, it works until the next trade and then spikes down again. I have RT price multiplier at 100 and historical set to 1. this works with the december contract. I don't know why it goes haywire when I roll over. I also currently playing december KC and I am worried if I will have the same problem when I roll the coffee over too. thanks! |

however, as you can see the daily chart is just fine and this is a recurring theme - the daily is fine but one I go intraday I get the spikes up and down in multiple of 100 http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1415629167753.png |

Something is wrong on the Interactive Brokers side. They are quoting cotton futures with a price format like this: 0.65609998 Clearly this is a price format change. We have adjusted the historical data format to match. But this is not a bug on the Sierra Chart side. IB has changed the format. Update the symbol settings as explained here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettings After that re-download the data in the chart with Edit >> Delete All Data and Download Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
