Since updating to the latest version, my Point and Figure charts are not updating correctly. Nothing has changed on my charts.

Here is a video with a 1 minute chart with Point and Figure added. The only other indicator is the Current Price Line so that you can see where the current price is (yellow box in the price scale on the right)and Where SC thinks it is (white box). Current Price Line is using last price traded.

What changed in the latest version to cause this?

Problem occurs 16 seconds into video. All chart and indicator settings are also shown.

Okay, so it looks like none of my charts are updating.

Here's a 1 minute chart no indicators.

This problem does not occur after I reverted back to version 1157.

There have been no changes which would cause a problem like this. We have done a test now and we do not observe a problem like this with the Point and Figure Chart study.

Most likely this has to do with the Session Time settings. Refer to help topic 3.3:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails3.html#h3.3

If you still see the problem, then remove all studies from the chart and use Chart >> Chart Settings >>Session Times of 0:00:00 for the Start Time and 23:59:59 for the End Time. Do you still see the problem of the chart bars and last trade price not updating?

We have standard troubleshooting procedures, if you do not want to follow our troubleshooting procedures, we cannot help you. Please follow our procedures, otherwise do not ask us for help.

WTF is the point of posting this?

I'm simply pointing out and clearly documenting something that doesn't work. That second vid is a 1 min chart, no indicators.

I did nothing but upgrade your software.

We did not notice the second video. Clearly the problem is the Session Times are filtering out the data in the chart. Refer to help topic 3 here:

Maybe your Time Zone is not set correctly and you are noticing this problem during the 15 minutes which are not included in the chart.

Or there is a damaged Intraday data file. Which is rather unlikely.

Well, as shown in the video, the chart settings do have the correct time and sessions. I upgraded again and the problem still persists.

Here again is a 1 minute chart no indicators with chart settings.

No new bar being created though price clearly below last bar.

This exact setup works perfectly in 1157. If something is different, it occurred during the upgrade which begs the question: why would an upgrade alter anything at all?

We have 0% of our other users reporting this problem. Nothing has changed which would cause this problem. We do not observe this problem ourselves.

You should not have this problem, but we are not aware of all of the details of your configuration.

Refer to help topic 3.3 and 3.5 here:

Been through all that. Nothing on that page remedies the problem.

When I revert back to 1157, everything works without changing a single thing.

I'll just stick with the older version.

The only other thing we can think of is the chart is in a downloading historical data state. However, we did not see that message on the chart unless you have removed the on-screen download message through Global Settings >> General Settings.

If you want remote support, let us know and we can check on this.

That's okay, thanks. I've deleted/downloaded data several times.

Just going to stick with 1157 for now.

OK. Just let us know. There should not be a problem like this and all the known causes are documented in help topic 3.
