This problem occurred today also and has been intermittently growing for months. I am not sure if it is Sierra chart problem or Transact. Your starting to lose customers, as well as the ib's losing customers who run through transact over to rythmic, etc. Just an FYI

You can see the disconnect to transact server error in the attachment. This does not happen with interactive brokers through sierra.

For TransAct data feed issues you will need to contact TransAct support or your broker.

Would it be possible to design the software to not need to be connected to a live trading account for the SC datafeed to work? I understand that you need to verify that we have a live trading account but can this not be done once a day and then saved or confirmed on a regular bases? then when issues like this arise our SC software is not rendered useless?

****UPDATE****

As some of you might have already done as well. I was able to speak with someone with support. He advised that they were aware of the issues and that it was coming from some changes they are trying to make to better the system overall.
