Is there anyone here who does programming work in Sierra, who are not already listed on the official page of developers?

There's a nice job that needs doing for Rob Booker.

Also, what happened to Sock?

Cheers!

You may also want to try using odesk.com or Elance.com.

Thanks for all the info. They have still been unable to find anyone.

They tried thelist on the Sierra web page listing programmers, but no luck there. Also tried elance and odesk and neither came up with anyone reliable. The couple that they got had never programmed anything trading related before, not for any platforms, etc and they said they would "give it a try". They did that before with other indicators and the results were "undesirable at best".

Is there anyone else here who had programmed Sierra successfully before, who would like to look at it? They are all ready to pay etc, no problem apparently. There are several Sierra users wanting this, and maybe more will subscribe if the indicators are available? (i dont know)

Many thanks!

The indicators have already been coded on other leading Charts packages now, with Sierra still to be done.

So I would imagine it could just be a case of converting existing source code?

From a personal point of view, i hope this can be done soon as my annual Sierra subscription is due shortly, and I love Sierra.

Thanks, Crazybears.

I'm on the wrong device at the moment, but it's mainly central pivots plus divergences.

Would you be able to email Wes at rob@tfl365.com?

Thanks Crazy!

Did you e-mail them ok, Crazy?

It's mainly Rob Booker's Knoxville Divergence.

Looks quite simple to me. I used to program many years ago, but out of it now.

Anyone who has successfully programmed in Sierra previously, and would like to do it... rob@tfl365.com

Cheers

Hi,

It seems that you need something like D3Spotter by David Anderson:

You may like to send him an E-mail to get the source codes, and the documentation. IMHO, modification is usually easier than invention.

Thanks Crazy.

Thanks Moon. They do have this already programmed for a lot of Charting packages, for thousands of users of the indicators. So I suppose it would be just a case of someone adapting one of those to Sierra.

Sierra just seems to be the only package where they are having enormous difficulty getting someone to get this simple job done.

cheers

Thanks very much for that, PTG. And thanks user021827.

I've sent that info on to rob booker.

If anyone has any other links, or offers to do programming themselves, I'll also send on, or you can contact them here rob@tfl365.com

Thanks again!

There has been no-one found to do the work, which is a great shame, as I liked Sierra Charts a lot.

So when my annual Sierra membership was due, i couldn't renew it so am no longer a subscriber.

If something as simple as this gets sorted out, I would re-subscribe. Great shame. And they are prepared to pay good money to get it done.

Probably time to keep moving on - nothing stays the same.

cheers
