Hi, lets say I have 2 chart windows open. Without me clicking on either chart whats happening is after a period of time the opposite chart is highlighting itself. So if I expand chart 2 to fill the whole screen, after a short period chart 1 becomes visible. its as if I'm clicking on the other chart (which Im not). Seems to randomly highlight different charts on the screen. Please advise. Many thanks in advance

This definitely could not be an issue within Sierra Chart. There is nothing within Sierra Chart which will cause charts to activate themselves automatically. Other than when switching to a Chartbook or opening one. We recommend restarting your computer. This must be a system problem. While this is unrelated to it, see if you have Global Settings >> General Settings >> General 2 >>Auto Hide Chart Title Bars and Scrollbars enabled. It was not enabled but I have now enabled it. I have previously manually hidden the title bars and scrollbars on some of the charts

We were thinking that if it was enabled, it should be disabled. But in any case, we do not see why that option would cause a problem itself. Just wondering if it is possibly triggering some problem within the operating system.

Im on Windows 8, but as I said before the feature you mentioned was and has been unchecked. The issue started about a week ago and I initially ignored it but its getting a little annoying now.

This must be a system issue. As we said nothing in Sierra Chart will cause a window to be automatically activated other than when a Chartbook is opened or you change Chartbooks. In this case the last active chart is activated. We also have never heard of a problem like this before. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
