Hi guys I am about to buy the data from Teletrader so that I can plot the Market Internals for FDAX and EUROSTOXX. I trade these indexes "Eminiplayer" style. I know that several users have tested Teletrader and I am interested to hear about your conclusions so far? I understand that Teletrader doesnt have anything similar to NYSE TICK and that they only plot the Advanced Decline line for the stocks in the indexes and not the whole markets. But is it still possible to see diveregences between for example Eurostoxx and the Eurostoxx advance decline line? My plan B is to open an account at Interactice brokers and use their TRIN and TICK... All thoughts and ideas welcome Cheers |

I used something similar with Interactive Brokers, which I dont recommend due to the terrible data feed. I have a plan to move this all to TeleTrader but am caught up in other projects at the moment and am not trading the European session as much right now. I would also advise that you do some back-testing on what you read regarding market breadth and its ability to predict market direction, because (as usual) most of the folklore is downright wrong. I wrote a very basic indicator in C++, but you can achieve the same using the spreadsheet studies and tracking the results in another spreadsheet tab to display the A/D line, which is how I started off monitoring breadth. It should be very easy for the Dax as you are only monitoring 30 stocks. |

I have been using the Teletrader Market Internals now for a while and they are usefull the way I trade. I really miss the TICK Indicator that are availabel for the US indexes but I hope Teletrader will provide one in the future. So far I have only been using the Advance Decline Lines for DAX, Eurostoxx and HDAX. But I notice that there are several different market internals from Teletrader like Advanc/Decline Momentum volume line and Advance/Decline Volume Line... -have anyone studid these and find them usefull? Corbeste -Do you only construct an AD line with the spreadsheet studies? Or is it possible to build an TICK indicator aswell? Cheers |
