Update: the below described problem has been resolved. Hello, We have some users using the new US equities/stocks data feed which is part of the Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical Exchange Data Feed: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed There has been an ongoing intermittent problem where you would notice the data feed sometimes stops for about 20 seconds and then when it gets restored, historical data is downloaded to fill in the missing data when the data feed was stopped. The underlying problem with this is that it appears as though the operating system network communication layer is not handling the high data rate very well due to a large number of function calls we are making into it. We are going to make some changes to reduce the amount of calls, after the close today, which we expect will resolve the problem. Just to be clear, this problem in no way affects the futures data feed. There is not any kind of issue like this with that data feed.

We have deployed the change to solve the problem with the US stock data feed. We expect that at this time the problem is definitively resolved . We will be monitoring it on Monday. We are monitoring the US equities data feed now, and we do not observe the previous problem. It is functioning normally.
