10 minute gap in data from CQG

when i open the platform for the day,data have a 10 minute gap: - the data is backfilled to (now - 10 minutes) - when the first ticks comes in there are a 10 minute gap in the data. - datafeed is CQG - sierra chart version is 1160 (this did not happen with version 1136) - if I do "delete and download data" the gap just moves to the time where i do the "delete and download data" Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-07-18 06:42:57

The historical Intraday data for CQG will be delayed 10 minutes but there is a trick to get the missing 10 minutes. After being connected for 10 minutes to CQG, do a Delete and Download Data. One thing about CQG that just occurred to us, are you with Advantage or Iron Beam futures? If so, then you can get historical data which is not delayed.

Hi Sierra chart support, For user with Optimus futures (CQG), can I get historical data which is not delayed? or purchase of Sierra Real Time data is required? |

Being that you are with Optimus futures, why not use Rithmic? If you use Rithmic you will get perfect quality historical data which is not delayed. Are there markets that you trade which are not supported like the EUREX? So if you have to use CQG, the data will be delayed by 10 minutes unless you use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. Yup, you got the point. Eurex data is the show stopper. Would love to go with Rithmic, but FGBL is not offered.

One last question , might be a off topic for this thread. Just curious, is it possible to have 2 instances of Sierra Chart with difference brokers running concurrently on one PC? |
