Closing a chart or chartbook takes a very long time

I am loading ~6 months of continuous futures data at tick level and also loading market depth. I understand why this initially takes a while to download, and I understand why the chart takes a while to load (I can see the progress bar for each day of market depth data being loaded, and can get a sense of what it's doing. However, when I close said chart, Sierra Chart freezes for 10-15mins before being accessible again. I don't know what it's doing, but I also don't understand why it would take so long to simply close a chart. Is this something wrong with my installation or is this standard behavior?

Something is very wrong. Should just simply take a second to close a Chartbook. So it takes this amount of time when you close the Chartbook with Close >> Close Chartbook?

You may have an issue on your system. Most likely.

I first came across the issue when closing a chart within a chartbook, but it seems to also be the case when closing a chartbook altogether. File >> Close Chartbook,or right-clicking on a chart and closing that individual chart both take a significant amount of time and freeze sierra chart in the process. I'm now trying to close a chartbook with two charts and it's been 45 mins and counting. What can I do to trouble-shoot this?

There is something very very seriously wrong.

Run Sierra Chart in Safe Mode:
Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Using Safe Mode

We also recommend restarting your computer. If you continue to have a problem it is a system level issue. Not with Sierra Chart. Try using another computer.

I'm also having the same problem - Takes 2-3 min to close(the chart book or close the SC itself) if the chart has Market Depth loaded.
