What is the Teton Clearing Fee? I am using AMP Futures, and it show the following Teton Clearing Fee. CL: $0.50 per side MNQ/MES: $0.13 per side I don't recall seeing this fee being mentioned anywhere. |

You need to ask AMP what those fees are for. You should not be receiving any Order Routing Fees when you are using the Teton Order Routing Service. Clearing fees would be something different, but they should not be associated with using Teton. Again, check with AMP on what these are from. I posted this in another thread but it may make sense here too. I asked AMP why there is a clearing fee for Teton: Their response: ------- Sierra does not charge an order routing fee for Teton. What does this mean? CQG charges 0.10/contract per side. This fee is passed on to customers. On statements, it is listed as CQG TRF. There is no trade routing fee when trading through Teton. However, clearing is an AMP fee charged for clearing the trades. It is charged regardless of the provider that you are using. It is the same whether you are on CQG, Rithmic, TT or Teton. It is not tied to the trade routing service you use. ------- I don't know if that is accurate or just or whether this is the same with other providers like Stage5 or Edge Clear!? |

We asked AMP about this, and they use the Clearing Firm name internally for their own purposes, but it then shows on their printouts. It is not a charge from us, it is just nomenclature that AMP uses for that particular fee.
