Sierrachart switching to sim mode when placing live orders

Followed instructions, set up Rithmic Apex Evaluation account, already have own live funded futures accounts executing in Sierrachart using Denali data.

Signed Rithmic agreements, logged into Rithmic account in both Rtrader and SC, and in SC can switch between both Rithmic and SC data connections, both working for realtime data updating in Sierrachart.

1. Placing order in LIVE mode in SC to Rithmic Apex server, automatically switches Sierrachart to Simulation mode.

2. Also cannot see live orders placed and in working status from RTrader in Sierrachart.

3. Should RTrader have market data selected as 'on' when executing through Sierrachart, and using RTrader for backup execution and Trailing Drawdown Risk Monitoring?

1. This means that you are not connected to your Rithmic account, but that your "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" is set to "SC Data - All Services". Make sure you are setup to connect to Rithmic by following the setup instructions at the following link:

2. This would be due to the issue above.

3. We do not know, as we do not know anything about RTrader and its requirements. But, you are getting your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, so the implication would be "No".

Working now.

Is it possible somehow to login with the Rithmic market data in Rtrader, while using the Denali market data in SC, and only executing to the Rithmic order routing connection in SC?

When I try, it logs Rtrader out saying session count exceeded maximum.

This is not within our control, but one thing you can try is to remove the Rithmic username and password in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings for market data and historical data. You only need them for trading.
