This is an email being sent to all current users.

First, is a technical notice:

If you are encountering in your Sierra Chart Trade Service Log the following message:
HTTP error sending order fills. Response: ERROR: Unauthorized IP | HTTP status: Request completed with the HTTP response status code 200. |

Then follow the instructions below:

1. Disable this option or set it to No (the option may not exist in your version):
Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Send Order Fills to SC Web Server.

2. Exit from Sierra Chart

3. Delete this file: /TradeActivityLogs/OrderFillsToSend.data from within the Sierra Chart installation folder, if the file exists.

4. Start Sierra Chart it again.

The cause of the issue was a misconfiguration, of login data that Sierra Chart received last week which was promptly corrected.

Second, Sierra Chart has released a new real time NASDAQ Global Indexes data feed which covers the major US and world indexes and numerous other indexes. Approximately 10,000 indexes are available.

This includes the following:
S&P 500 index
Dow Jones Industrials index
NASDAQ 100 index
Volatility index

These are all calculated using the NASDAQ calculation method.

NASDAQ global indexes/indices have now been released and can be activated here:

This is available to all users on service package 10 or higher and has no cost.

There are nearly 10,000 indexes available.

Symbols can be found and listed through File >> Find Symbol >> NASDAQ Global Indexes.

Most importantly you need to be on an up-to-date version of Sierra Chart to use this data feed. So you must be running version 2489 or higher.

Any of the symbols can be used from the list here:

You just need to add the following suffix to them:

In File >> Find Symbol >> NASDAQ Global Indexes, you can select (Get All NASDAQ Global Indexes Symbols) and then press the Get Symbols button to get the approximately 10,000 symbols. It will take about 25 seconds to get the entire list of symbols.

We have also added the more common ones predefined in the list.
We will compare the S&P 500 index from S&P to the equivalent one from NASDAQ Global Indexes:

S&P 500 index:

NASDAQ Global index equivalent:

You can see that the chart graph itself matches exactly but the price range is different.

Third, we have a new US Equities consolidated tape real-time data feed now available and part of the Denali Exchange Data Feed. For complete information, refer to:
