Some days ago I experienced some slowing of Sierra Chart then solved remaking from scratch some Chartbooks here the thread Sierra slowing 'cause of long term intraday chart Now I think I found who was mainly responsible for slowing the thing: On an intraday chart (5000 contracts candle chart) on the daily Volume Profile if I set "Extend Ponit Of Control" and "Future Intersection" in Volume Profile or even worst on "chart bars" it stars to slow... A bit better than the old chartbook but I see that it starts to burden the software. If I set back "Extend Point Of Control" to NONE everything comes back to completely fluid Which could be the reason? That setting is pretty useful... tks regards R.

1500 days continuous contract... but all other indicator are fine...

ok, I understand, even if I was thinking it was not a big issue for Sierra, because once calculated I thought it shouldn't burden the system, Anyway I found the solution I calculated the daily volume profile on only 200 days, and the composite profile on all 1500 days, in this way it works fine.
