Some days ago I experienced some slowing of Sierra Chart then solved remaking from scratch some Chartbooks here the thread Sierra slowing 'cause of long term intraday chart Now I think I found who was mainly responsible for slowing the thing: On an intraday chart (5000 contracts candle chart) on the daily Volume Profile if I set "Extend Ponit Of Control" and "Future Intersection" in Volume Profile or even worst on "chart bars" it stars to slow... A bit better than the old chartbook but I see that it starts to burden the software. If I set back "Extend Point Of Control" to NONE everything comes back to completely fluid Which could be the reason? That setting is pretty useful... tks regards R. |
