i want to use my monthly TPO chart, but id like to see where the month opened and closed. I guess id have to use the OHLC study, but what settings do i need to use for a monthly chart ?

If you are wanting to see the information as lines on the TPO chart, then use the Highest High/Lowest Low Over N Bars study. You can set the High and Low to be the Open and Close. Then set the Number of Bars to be 1. This will give you the information for each TPO profile.
