How to add a trailing stop to an active trade that will move by a certain amount of ticks relative to the current price? (E.g. 30 or 35 ticks from the current price)

To add an Attached Order to an existing position, you need to use the Send Attached Orders order type. I have tested the attached orders with tralling stop and when inserting an order with defined "stop offset" tralling stop works as I want. My question, however, is whether I can insert a trailing stop into an active trade (remove the regular stop loss and insert a trailing stop specifying the interval from the current price, e.g. exactly 30t from the current price). From the trade window on the chart, it is possible to set a trailing stop at the selected price (use attached orders when unchecked), but it is not possible to hit the exact distance from the current price this way. Is there another possibility? |
