AMP Broker with CQG and SC Package 11 I'm missing something

Sorry I know this has been discussed before but I am brand new to SC. I followed the directions at the General Settings and Data/Trade Service Settings. I put in my CQG account information with no issues but not sure if I have to switch the symbols ? So the next step is said to go to file Connect to data feed. This is completly faded out and cannot be clicked on. However, I can swtch from CQG to SC data. I signed up for SC pkg 11 but for now I just want delayed data and did not sign the exchange documents. I am sure I am missing something becaue I have used AMP/CQG on other platforms with no issues. I might just switch to Edge Clear as it seems to be an easier set up. Any suggestions most appreciated. |

If Connect to Data Feed is disabled it means Sierra Chart is connected. If you do want market data when using CQG you do have to complete the market data agreements and activate exchanges here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation#DenaliCME If you only require delayed data then: To access historical and streaming market data independent from your Trading service. Follow these instructions. Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services". Press "OK" And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks and Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service) You can then use the data provided by Sierra Chart independent of your trading service.
