Change background colour of a TextDisplayForStudy based on value

Hi, I would like to know how to change the background colour of a TextDisplayForStudy but based on a value that is not 0. I mean, I want to change the attached tag (that is generated by a TextDisplayForStudy) to RED if the value is less than 0.5, for example. I have read this topic: Auto-Coloring with Value on Low Draw Style but it's not working for me doing the same. Probably because the study I'm referring is a TextDisplayForStudy, not really a value?
