I have the horizontal line at time study on a range chart... the Open price is different from the 1 minute chart... may be a bug? If not can this be fixed somehow?

In order to get the same opening price, the charts would both need to have the option for New Bar at Session Start set to Yes. Our guess is that this is not the case for the range chart. Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: New Bar at Session Start (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Session Times >> Intraday Chart Session Times menu)

The problem is that you have your Session Times and your Horizontal Line at Time set differently. Your Session Times start at 08:30 but you have the Horizontal Line at Time set to 09:30.

Since one of the charts is a Range chart, there may not be an exact 09:30:00 bar, therefore the Horizontal Line at Time is going back to a previous day to try and find a bar that fulfills the requirement. This then gives you different prices for what you have listed as the Open.

Sorry, then the difference came about from the time zone differences between our systems as the Session Times would change.

We'll have to take another look at your chartbook to see what is happening.

Apologies for how long this took. It turns out that the information is all in the documentation, but it was not something that I personally aware of.

There are two issues at play here. One of them is that the "New Bar at Session Start" only applies to the beginning of the trading day, however that is defined by the Session Times. This means that if you have Evening Session hours defined, then the new bar only applies at the beginning of the Evening Session and not at the start of the Day Session. This is all explained in the following:
Chart Settings: New Bar at Session Start (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Session Times >> Intraday Chart Session Times menu)

the second issue is that the "Range Bar - Standard", will change the Open and Close of a bar and it resets the time of both session times to appear that there is a new bar. Again, all of this is explained in the following:
Chart Settings: Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type >> Range Per Bar - Standard (in ticks) (Chart >> Chart Settings menu)

In order to resolve this issue - use the Range Bar - True option instead. Refer to the information here:
Chart Settings: Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type >> Range Per Bar - True (in ticks)
