I consider myself a techie. I've taught several programming classes at a collegiate level. I was a K-12 Teacher for 17 years. I have a masters degree in education. I was a Instructional Technology Specialist for 10 years (helping teachers use tech). That all said, I still do not understand the proper way SC wants individuals in evaluation accounts aka Rithmic data to utilize this great platform. Please dont Yell at me. I am not asking for Rithmic Help. I am asking how does one setup SC for evaulation accounts, specifically utilizing the Denali Data. Yes, I've read the support pages. Yes It's not clear. From what I read, here's what I gathered.

We all know SC does not support Rithmic data. Great. I actually was having no problems until 2 weeks ago. Now Rithmic data is lagging horrendously. So I once again have tried to figure out the correct way to connect Denali Data. So you support page says open an account with Stage 5. I've done that. It says connect that account I've done that. I dont understand how being connected to Teton allows me to trade a Rithmic evaluation account. Obviously, the only accounts listed on the DOM when connected to Teton is my Dorman account. Do I just connect it once and then go back to Rithmic. But then how is that Denali data?

Clearly there are a lot of people trying to acquire prop accounts. There's a new prop firm popping up everyday. So how can one take advantage of this platform while doing a prop firm. Yes, I could connect via Ninja, but SC has a free order copying feature for multiple accounts. So I would love to stay on SC, but the lagging that only started 2 weeks ago is unbearable.

Actually I dont mind if you yell at me if in addition you give clear steps on how to setup SC for Denali and Evaluation accounts that use Rithmic.

Edit, as I go back and reread it again. Is the simple answer, while you in a combine/test/ aka sim accounts, there is no way to get around the Rithmic data issues. The solutions provided on this help pages are for live accounts and not simulated accounts.

I am referring to this line from your Rithmic Help Page:
If you are using services like Top Step Trader, Earn 2 Trade, One Up Trader, LeeLoo, UProfit, and other trading evaluator accounts, you must use the Easy Solution method to authorize the real-time data

At first read, you might (as I did) assume this means anyone trying to use one of these prop accounts while in an evaluation (simulated) account, can follow these steps, but are these steps just for live accounts thru those services?

Live Teton connected account is used to verify non-professional status for reduced data fees.

Do I just connect it once and then go back to Rithmic
Yes, once per month.

But then how is that Denali data
Because you need to enable 'Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds', so that Denali data is then used instead of Rithmic (or whichever other service).
Data/Trade Service Settings: Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Other Settings)

Simple step-by-step (assuming you already have Teton setup):
1. Enable 'Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds'
2. Connect to Rithmic evaluation account and enjoy Denali data
3. Once per month, connect to Teton to verify non-professional status

That is all.

User431178 covered the general information.

One note we want to add is that Sierra Chart is setup to allow you to get data from either your trading service (Rithmic, Interactive Brokers) or from us (Sierra Chart). Therefore the system allows you to be connected to a trading service and still get the data from us.

You will know that one of the real-time Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feeds is being used for the symbol when you see an [M] indicator after the Symbol on the top line of the chart or Trade DOM. Refer to the image below.

But after confirming I have this Enabled I still see [CBV] instead of [M]
