I have an existing live account with transact, and I prepay my sierra subscription through them every month. I have downloaded the transact trading software onto my new laptop without issue, however with this new update it does not install sierra as standard.

I have downloaded sierra and logged in with a very old details which has worked fine. I have replicated my log in details on the data/service settings screen using the info I still have access to on my old laptop but it does not seem to work. I receive the error message "your current service package does not support this function. Select account control panel to change your package".

I don't want to add credit as I already pay for my usage. What am I missing?

Install Sierra Chart on your system using this link:
http://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartSetupTransActMA.exe

After installation, this copy of Sierra Chart will be started by the TransAct software. You would not manually start it. It needs to be started through the TransAct software.

I removed the existing copy of sierra and downloaded the new one via the link you provided. Seems to install fine, there is no menu shortcut on the desktop but I wouldn't expect one.

I open transact and no chart automatically opens (which it used to on old laptop). I open a ladder and click the chart button, again nothing. When I go into properties on the transact front end there is an option to auto start charts, however ensign is the only option I have here not sierra.

Ok resolved, I had to manually scroll down to at charts and select it.

Wasn't particularly clear but is now working.

Thanks

Not sure how we could help with this.

Could you contact TransAct support about this here:
http://www.transactfutures.com/ContactUs.htm

They will need to help you with getting Sierra Chart automatically started from the TransAct software.
