AMP Futures and Sierra Chart Package 10 do not fit together so what can I do?

Hello Sierra Support Team, I want to trade the micro dax future with Eurex exchange in Germany. I know from your informations I need to purchase service package 10 with the Denali Exchange Data Feed. I would purchase or subscribe that soon. However I have a problem with my preferred broker AMP Futures where I want to open an account which offers me three datafeeds Rithmic, CQG, and TT. Only with CQG I can chose Sierra Charts package 5 and not 10 which I would need so that is a problem. Or I can choose rithmic with sierra charts package 5 which would also not work because I need service package 10? Is there a way that I can use your Denali data Ex. Feed as well as service package 10 and AMP Futures as a borker? I don't want CQG and Rithmic because I have read on your homepage about problems with these datafeeds so I want your data feed the denali data feed and service pack.10. So I need a good broker with which your datafeed works. Can you tell me how I can use AMP futures as a borker and your service package 10? Or can you recommend me another good broker where your Denali datafeed works or is accepted? Many thx in advance and I like sierra charts a lot. Best Regards Boris Kraft from Germany |

You can use AMP for your broker and have them setup you up with either CQG or Rithmic for trading EUREX. You will then need to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed for the EUREX data and you will need to be on Package 10. We have no idea why anyone from AMP would be telling you that you can not be on package 10 and connect to CQG or Rithmic. That is simply not true and it does not make any sense. Once AMP has you setup with either CQG or Rithmic, then you will follow the appropriate instructions as follows to setup your Sierra Chart to connect to that account: For CQG: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions For Rithmic: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Then you will setup the Denali Exchange Data Feed by following the instructions at the following link: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges* And be sure to have your account setup for package 10, 11, or 12 (depending on what you want). Hello Boris, just as another SC Package 10 / AMP customer -- it works via CQG with the Denali feed. In the AMP settings, you choose to do order routing only, without paying for a separate data feed. That is setup in AMP in the Client Portal area (under Trade Desk > Live Trading Setup Requests). There you can choose, for example, "CQG (No Data - Order Routing Only)" when you get to select "Which Datafeed?". AMP support can confirm that. Hope that helps. |
