black screen, no chart on the screen

Hi, I'm using trial at the moment, but I have one problem when I try to open MES historical or intraday chart, I only get a black screen with nothing on it. And I also can not customize my DOM, when I click on the graphics settings and choose the color, nothing happens. Is that because I use trial? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-11-30 20:29:35

The Trial gives you access to the full capabilities of the system, so it is not related to the fact that you are on a trial. Please go through the instructions to open a chart at the following link and see if everything works in that case. I can see the chart now, but I steel can not change my DOM colors. When I click on apply in graphics settings fot the chart, nothing happens, my DOM is the same as it was on the beginning

Is this a Chart DOM or a Trade DOM? Keep in mind there are two different places to change graphics settings, depending on whether you want to change the global settings or just the settings for a single chart/DOM. It is a Trade DOM. Now it is ok, I just changed it by using global setting --- graphics settings. But when I tried to change something directly from the DOM by using chart --- graphics setting, nothing worked for me, even when I unchecked USE GLOBAL GRAPHICS ..

If you want to have the chart specific graphics settings for the trading DOM, then you would need to select Chart >> Graphics Settings from the Trading DOM window itself. If you select it from the main Sierra Chart window, then you are changing the settings for the active chart within the Sierra Chart main window. Again, select Chart >> Graphics Settings from the menu on the Trading DOM and then deselect the option for Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings and then make the changes you want for the Trading DOM.
