Hi,

When I submit buy or sell stop limit orders, they are being rejected with the error message: "Rithmic Direct - DTC (Order reject). Info: Instrument reference data database rejected request....." I've copied the error messages pertaining to this problem from my Trade Service Log below. I do have OCO orders attached.

Rithmic Direct - DTC (Order reject). Info: Instrument reference data database rejected request. Internal Order ID: 6625. Service Order ID: 57422179. Symbol: nqz2.CME. Account: 40232556 | 2022-11-11 14:41:02.461 *

Buy and sell limit orders seem to work fine.
I'm using sierra chart version 2448 and on Rithmic Data

Thank you for any help.

This error message is from Rithmic. We have not seen this before. We do not know why Rithmic is rejecting the order. Please contact Rithmic or your broker.

The broker/FCM responded and told me, the limit portion of the stop limit order, has to be higher (for long entry) or lower (for short entry) than the stop trigger price.

Is there another method/order type I can use to have a stop limit trigger, then a limit order is placed with -1 tick offset of the trigger stop price?

For example: On the NQ, buy stop limit is at 11699.50, and buy limit order is -1 tick offset at 11699.25 when price hits 11699.50.

Thank you.
