I have a few charts opened. I go to File/New/Open intraday chart because I want to create a new chart (NOT duplicate) with the same symbol. Once the new chart appears, the bars or candles on that chart additionaly superimpose themselves on the candles from an already existing chart (#4 in this case) ???. It tells me the new chart is referenced by chart #4... How can I correct that? |

It sounds like you have the setting for Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Use Default Study Collection for New Charts set to Yes and have a Default Study Collection being applied. If this is the case, then the first thing to do is to go to the new chart and remove the studies from that chart to remove the reference. Then you can update (or turn off) the study collection that is being applied to new charts as it appears to have a study that causing a reference to another chart. Refer to the following: General Settings Window: Study Collection (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
