If you are opening your chartbook through the Recent Files list on the File menu, and the chartbook was originally located in a different folder, then when you are saving it, is being saved to the Data folder, but you keep opening the file from the Recent list, which opens the file from a different folder again, which was never updated. Make sure you are opening the chartbook using File >> Open Chartbook and be sure to NOT open chartbooks that are located in a folder other than your Data folder. -- Another possible reason as to why this would occur, is that you have your data folder located on your computer where you do not have write privileges, therefore it is not able to write the file to save your work. You can view the location of your Data folder at the following setting: General Settings Window: Data Files Folder (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths >> Files and Folder Paths) We highly recommend keeping the Data folder under your main Sierra Chart installation.
