Does a line drawing have more than two control points?

I am just starting to get my feet wet with Sierra Charts. Do the additional points (between the start and end points) on a line drawing have a purpose? I had a look at the Line, Ray, Extended Line section of the help documentation but it only mentions two points. Just curious if there are more ways manipulate the line tool as-is that I am not aware of. Cheers.
