Hello, As you can see for my questions, I am a relative new user of Sierra, my questions can simple but step by step I hope to get to know more the platform and stop answering questions than can seem pretty simple to you, thank you for your time About rollover, I don't know how I have now this set up, but with other platforms in the past, I know there has to be a setting that when using longer timeframe charts the difference between contracts is corrected automatically or it is showing the gap between contracts. Where can I check this? Thank you |

This is a Continuous Futures Contract Chart either with or without Back Adjustment. Refer to the information here: Continuous Futures Contract Charts For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Ok, I am having serious doubts about this. I set up all my charts to continous futures contract - Volume based rollover, back adjusted. And I compared to a CFDs chart (that has no rollover) Let's say I am trying to track an horizontal level from a high from 4 months ago. When I go to back adjusted, there is a considerable difference from the CFD. and when I use it without the back adjusted setting there is no difference from the CFD, so that seems like is the correct level. Back adjusted should correct that, not the opposite right? How is it possible or what I am doing wrong? Thank you |

Back adjustment is going to definitely alter the prices for the past contracts. Either up or down.
