Trading using spread

I have used custom symbol settings to create a MNQ-MES pair using a formula.
If I want to enter into positions using this pair, is spread order feature on the trade window the only way to do it?
And from what I understand, the spread order feature market sells/buys separately on the MES and MNQ.
Will this allow me to trade with lower margins on my broker? I am not sure how that works.

I have denali feed and was wondering if there is a way to incorporate DOM into trading like a calendar spreader would have on sierra chart.

Also is there an option where I can immediately exit out of both positions on MES and MNQ?

We apologize for the long delay on this.

This had gotten overlooked and we also have a lot of other things ahead of it.

We are going to be doing testing today and responding.

Ok.

For simulated or live trading? For live trading the answer is yes. For simulated trading, you can trade the spread, as an individual symbol.

Yes there are separate orders for each symbol since the spread does not exist from the exchange. No it would not lower margins. The standard margin you would require for each symbol will still apply.

Not at this time. It has been planned but it is not something we have done yet.

No you have to exit from each individually. You can do this through Trade >> Trade Positions Window and have them both easily accessible in a single list.
