Move to BE bracket order does not work live or in sim anymore but does work in chart replay?

Noticed since version 2443.

We just did a quick test to ensure the Move to BreakEven is working in Simulation mode (not replaying) and it is working as expected.

Exactly how are you accessing the Move to Breakeven option and what is the value for Trading Window >> Set >> Move to BE Offset set to.

One other note, keep in mind that the Move to Breakeven only works with Attached orders. If you have a Stop that was entered after the initial position was opened, then that is not an attached order and will not be affected by the Move to Breaeven option.

Hi,

I have had an OCO bracket order set up for 6 months since I first got SC.

10.25P target, 5P SL, BE trigger at 5P with a 1 tick offset. This has worked fine for 6 months in replay, live and sim.

Since 2443 this does not work anymore.

I realised whilst trading live a few times, then I tested in sim at least 10 times and it also does not work, then I tested in reply and it does work.

No settings have been changed in my chartbook, nothing has changed.

Thanks

In fact I've just realised the take profit limit order and the SL are not working either. Nothing triggers anymore in live or sim. Only in reply.

Do you know what has happened here?

Could this have something to do with time and sales depth/levels stored? I have changed this and the bracket order works again?

This has already been resolved.

Yes possibly:

What were they set to previously?

We have now tested your Chartbook in simulation mode and the move to breakeven functionality is working properly.

The move to BE button works fine, it was the bracket order not functioning.

I dont know what it was set to previously as I must have changed a 100 different options, but when I changed that the bracket order started functioning again. I may have changed the sales depth levels to zero last week as I only use top of book and thought it would save unnecessary data.

Could that have caused this?

Anyway its fixed now, thanks for your time

Yes changing the number of stored Time and Sales records to 0 would definitely cause the move to breakeven functionality to no longer work.

Right ok.

What were the default numbers for number of stored t+s and max t+s? I have them set at 100 and 5 now

For the number of stored Time and Sales records, we would recommend at least 1000. The default is 4000.
