This video contains important information about the cutoff of Sierra Chart from Transact (which was done by Transact themselves, not Sierra Chart) and how to use our Denali Data Feed for market data, which is completely independent from Transact, which we have provided you free of cost for the time being.

If you are Transact user you need to ask yourself, does it make sense to stay with Transact when they have treated you in this way.

Sierra Chart provided no disruption whatsoever.

Even though we have been planning to remove the historical data service specific for Transact, well ahead of that we already set you up with our Denali Data Feed so there was no longer a reliance on that any longer. So when that was removed you would not even notice because you would not even be using that service.

And what happens is that Transact cuts you off. Are they now blaming Sierra Chart for this? We would like to know. Are they saying this problem was from Sierra Chart?

The special service that we had set up for historical data for Transact users, was the very last service that we removed among services like that that we had set up years ago. Over the years we have removed custom historical data services for CTS, Rithmic, CQG, OEC, others. All of these have been phased out over the years before.

We have been very accommodative to our Transact users for so long.

Removal of that historical data has been something we have actually had the intention of doing going all the way back to 2013 and we are now at the year 2022. It only makes sense that we have one single unified data feed that we provide to our users and that is the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Not all of these different mess of services that we have to support.

We just recently removed support for CQG data for CME and EUREX in newer versions. Did CQG cut us off? No.

Why did Transact do this to you so abruptly? What kind of regulatory issues did they create by doing that with little or no notice. What are their intentions?
