How can I create horizontal bands when stochastic slope is up (green) or down (red)

Maybe I can, but I'm not really understanding what you want.

Thanks vega, basically I just want a visual indicator when a 5 minute charts stochastic turns up/down and have that plotted on a 1 minute chart with little horizontal blocks/bars (just something small) that at a glance lets you know the 5 min stoch turns up/green or down/red on a 1 min chart.

Does that make sense?

I think you want it to plot on the center line, similar to the Bollinger squeeze. I can do this next couple days, lemme know if my understanding is wrong.

If you can imagine a horizontal line of bars/blocks that color correspond to the slope of the stochastic. It would literally take up about 1/2" of screen real estate at the bottom.

Overlay the 5-minute stoch on the 1-minute chart and hide the study. Add the StudySlopeBands study and change the region to the region with the 1-minute stoch, change the input to the overlayed 5-minute stoch, and choose the subgraph you want to base the slope band on. You can also adjust the bands to desired width.

Vegas, I noticed some behavior where the color doesn't seem to change, like it stays on the last color. I woke up this morning and the band was completely green even though the 5 min stochs had oscillated between red/green, when I hit recalculate it then showed the proper colors.

Is there a simple code to have it recalculate every few minutes.

It's set to auto loop, so you shouldn't have to manually recalculate anything. I can't reproduce on my end, it's been loaded for a while and working correctly, so my only thoughts are 1) it could be a precedence issue, so I have attached an updated version to lower the precedence of the study, or 2) you have the wrong subgraph selected, or 3) the overlay study settings are different than mine. Try the new version and double check the subgraph number is correct, and if that doesn't fix it, then I will need you to show me all of your settings so I can see what is different. Let me know.
