few questions:
1. what will be a good / enough VCPU for scalping based on 10 seconds bars (tick-based) assuming running 4 cht with each 4-5 charts?
2. nearest location to CME is east2 (Ohio). what latency should I expect?
3. can I copy my SC settings from my local PC to that win server and it will work?
4. if I don't save tick data there, is there any need for that SSD drive?

any other tips from your experience will be much appreciated!

I’m thinking about the same thing - installing my SC on an AWS server but I also have no idea what the specs should be to ensure that it runs well. If there’s no info here I think I’ll have to do some trial and error. If I can get it working well, I will post my info.

I haven't done this also so your trail/error will be very much valued.

Yes you can:

3. can I copy my SC settings from my local PC to that win server and it will work?

As far as what you require from a virtual machine, you just have to make your own determinations. But It should be at least 6 fast cores, with 16 GB of memory and hundreds of gigabytes of solid-state storage.

A dedicated server would be better though.
