Hi SC,

I have no data coming through for ES contract.

When I disconnect and connect again I just a snap shot but no bids/offers on DOM (empty) plus my graph data even though my
chart setting are ESU22-CME for both graph and DOM.

My internet connection is working.

Please can you tell me what I need to do to get my normal delayed 10 min data.

Regards
Stephen

Hi SC,

I've looked at all the documentation, but to no avail.

I have no ES delayed data either in graphs or DOM (Limit or Market orders traded)

System was working on Friday, I need it back on please.

Refer to the following regarding the error message you are getting for the update:
Software Download: Resolving 'Access is Denied' Errors

Worst case, use our Zip Installer, for which the instructions are here:

You do not have Sierra Chart installed in the correct location:

Failed to open file c:\Users\alpha\desktop\DownloadedInstallion...

You have Sierra Chart installed directly to your desktop. This is definitely wrong!

Install Sierra Chart again, and install it to the default location of C:\SierraChart. Do not change that location unless you know what you are doing. Here is the link to the installer:
https://download2.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartFileDownloader.exe

And then after the new installation is done, You will need to follow step 4 and 5 here to move the relevant files to the new installation:
Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation

Hi SC,

Okay I will this.

Do I need to do steps 4 & 5 if I just leave the installed files in C:\SierraChart and do not move them?

Thanks.

If you do not want to copy any of your existing Chartbooks or configuration from your current installation of Sierra Chart on the desktop, then you do not need to follow those instructions in step 4 and 5 referenced above.

Hi SC,

I have done this and have left the installed files in default folder C\SierraChart with all the
data and other subfolders off the C:\SierraChart root.

When I invoke the SierraChart_64 program from the C:\SierraChart root the program doesn't recognise my old stephenavraamides@gmail.com and my Stavros1 username and password, how do I get the new installation to recognise this.

Thank you.

Hi,

I have done this but most of my data (chartbooks are now lost and when I invoke the program
and I'm in SierraChart when I fire up a chartbook and change chart setting to ESU22-CME for main graph and DOM still no delayed data coming through.

I fire up Sierra Chart from the C\:SierraChart>SierraChart_64

Hi SC

One last question please.

After installation it's put the backup, TradeActivity Data, TradeAccountDat folders back onto
the desktop, I did not ask it to do this.

The location now of these folders are C:\Users\alphaDesktop I did not move them there

Question can I delete these? seeing as these are also in subfolders of the C:\SierraChart
directory, sorry for my confusion.

Those folders should be moved to the corresponding folders in the C:\SierraChart installation folder.

The TradeAccountData folder is not important.

The Trade Activity Logs folder is important if you have trading activity there that you need to preserve.
