Hello, you've attached 2 files: 1. of the same size of original file named "backup" 2. with the size of only 20.3 KB instead of 528.28 KB I have tried opening them and only one of the opens, the other says it is Not Compatible. Could you please reupload both of the converted files, named respectfully so I can know which file corresponds to which original file. Also, is it normal that a size of the second file is only 20.3 KB instead of 528.28 KB? Or the size after conversion should be the same of original file? Best Regards |

Yes we made a mistake. We should not have uploaded the backup Chartbook. The smaller one is the correct one. The new Chartbooks are much smaller than older ones since they use compression. We will upload the other one in a few minutes. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Check the Chartbooks again at post #2. They are now both there.

This is not something we do any further. We did this at a particular point in time due to a change we made within the software that required an update. But that was several years ago. If you are having a problem with a chartbook and it is a chartbook you have not used in years, then you can try the process outlined at the following link: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Opening Older Chartbooks But, most likely there is something wrong with the chartbook that is causing this. Particularly if the chartbook has been used recently. In this case, you would need to try to recover the chartbook from the backups that we make (or if you have your own backup). Refer to the following: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
