Turns into Sim mode, when enter a position

Hello,

I'm using SC package 11 with Denali feed. Broker is AMP.

Since some days SC turns me into SIM mode as soon as I enter a position.

Does anyone had this already or can help me to solve this issue. It's frustrating.

Attached is a Screenshot from the message log, which shows up when I enter a position.

Let me know if I have to provide more information.

When this occurs, it means that you are not connected to your trading account, but rather your Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service is set to SC Data - All Services.

If you tell us what trading service you are trying to connect to, then we can point you to the proper setup instructions.

I too have this problem of trade defaulting to sim mode when entering a trade. I have just upgraded to Package 10 and have CME data for Denali feed. I login to CQG WebAPI first and then to SC Data - All Services. Is this still correct. If so what else am I doing wrong?

No you need to keep Sierra Chart connected to the CQG Web API. Refer to:

Hello,

sorry for the late reply, but I was on a leave.

So far I followed the instructions but it did not help.

I have on AMP the CQG Order Routing Only option chosen. In SC I have package 11 with Denali Feed.

In my Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service is set to SC Data - All Services

I tried to connect to CQG for a minute and switched back, but it did not help.

Which solutions do you have?

You need to just connect to your CQG account and leave it connected. Refer to the Setup Instructions at the following link:
