[User Discussion] Do historical bars load tick by tick OR bar by bar ?

I am running a study that has to run certain calculations every time new data arrives (Some would call it every tick and some would call it every trade). If the calculations are run on a bar close basis they are not correct. My question is do the historical bars load on a tick by tick (trade by trade) basis or on a bar by bar basis ? |

Ok, the answer is that when a study is initially calculated if AutoLooping is activated ( sc.AutoLoop = 1) then the study function is called ONCE PER EACH HISTORICAL BAR. Therefore in my case I will have to use a Replay if I want the study to yield correct results for the historical bars.
