Ok, the answer is that when a study is initially calculated if AutoLooping is activated ( sc.AutoLoop = 1) then the study function is called ONCE PER EACH HISTORICAL BAR. Therefore in my case I will have to use a Replay if I want the study to yield correct results for the historical bars.
