Historical data on S&P futures chart

In my daily or 3hour chart, I cannot see price before 2021. I am trying to find candlesticks below the current price on the S&P when I scroll to the left of the chart, and although I choose almost 4,000 days to load, I cannot see the chart history going further back than 2021. Do I need to view a continuous S&P symbol in order to see history more than a year back?

You would typically need a Continuous Futures Chart in order to see data more than 3 months old. But, it depends on the particular instrument. Therefore, the first thing to do is to make the chart a Continuous Futures chart and then see if you get the data you need. Refer to the following:
