i zoom in/out of charts a lot. Because the Volume indicator doesnt auto adjust width size when you zoom in/out chart, i am manually doing - right click > study setting > volume > Window - adjust width > ok - about a thousand times everyday

wondering if there is a smarter way to do it, or a get around to make it less hasssle

it would be incredible if SC could implement this so that a single right click to the region will bring up in the menu Width size 1-5 for selection, for just this indicator. Volume is the most common indicator and i feel like this QOL will benefit a lot of users.

thank you

Maybe this is not a solution for you and not exactly the answer to your question, but you can try setting the draw style for the volume subgraph to Fill Rectangle to Zero or Transparent Fill Rectangle to Zero, with either of these the volume bar always occupies the full bar width.

What the previous post said + add in a second volume study and set the drawstyle to Box Bottom Center (use a solid color to match your background), and the result actually looks like bars with a small space in between.

This is not working when you scroll chart and also doesn't make sense to have two volume Study plot together...
please See the picture Here.

Is it possible sierra Chart to make a drawstyle Like Transparent Fill rectangle to almost Zero!! (am sure you can do it easily that would be really cool!! :)))))

There should not be any issue with scrolling the chart. We just set this up ourselves to test and see if there is any issue, and what the previous posts suggest works fine for us.

The one thing we see is that your scale is way off where you are unable to view the bars. Reset the scale to get it back into the proper view. We do not know why your scale would be off like that.

scrolling the chart work but at some point when you scroll further you see volume in black.
yes my scale is a way off like this but should not be an issue to see Volume bar...

look there is over 100 draw style there and the only one that most people use for traditional volume is not there..

also why not keep it simple instead of adding two volume study with can lead to decrease performance.....

John i will ask you this as a feature request :)
