Dear support team,
I am running a second installation of Sierra on another computer and would like to request the second connection for my currently active exchanges to receive real time data on that machine

Secondly I understand that I receive delayed data on my second computer connection currently, is there any way to make this update continuously with the delay? It gets stuck when I load up my chart and I have to disconnect/reconnect data to update it again. The price does not move after loading the chart even with the delay.

Many thanks,
AD

In order to get the data to both computers you will have to pay the exchange fee twice. Refer to the information here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed on Two Computers Simultaneously

Just be aware that you will pay the full amount for the additional exchange fee for the current month. Therefore, you may want to wait until April 1 to add the additional connection.

With regards to the delayed data, you should have delayed streaming data as long as you are looking at instruments that are part of the CME Group, EUREX, or our NASDAQ TotalView exchanges. Any other data would be delayed, but not streaming.

If you believe that the data is part of one of these exchanges then please give us the symbol for which you are not getting the delayed streaming data.

Thank you John, I will wait and raise a support ticket for the second connection in April as I saw this was the requirement in the documentation on website.

The symbol is ESM22-CME, and any other CME markets. When I pay for a connection, one machine receives real time data and the second separate machine does not stream data, just loads most recent delayed one and stops. Otherwise I noticed when I don’t have any active exchange data feed paid for, I receive delayed streaming quotes on both machines concurrently. Hope this helps.

On the second computer where you want to get the delayed streaming data set the option for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds to No.

Then select File >> Disconnect followed by File >> Connect to Data Feed.

You should start getting the delayed streaming data at this point.

Just remember that if/when you change to getting live data on both computers you will need to change the setting for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds to Yes in order to get the real-time data on that computer.
