Hello!

I don't really know how to solve this problem. I'm not sure if this issue got worse when I added some studies or not, although probably it is the case.

The chart I'm particularly referring to is a 2k tick chart and I've got in it(3 & 4 were added later, but I'm sure I had the issue before, just not as often):

1. One EMA
2. VWAP
3. Pivot points daily
4. Fibonacci bands

Also I use "lock fill space".

Often I see at the beginning of a new candle that the chart doesn't tremble but then after a while it starts to shake rhythmically with every up tick or down tick of the candles and it's really annoying because I see everything moving in the chart: horizontal lines, horizontal grid, channels, vwap, past candles...Please help.

Reset the chart scales and use an Automatic Scale Range:
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Chart Bars or Studies Not Completely within View, Not Displayed, or Cut Off. Reset Scales.

Unfortunately resetting the chart scales and using an Automatic Scale Range does not help. Any other idea? Might I send you a video?

Hi,
I hope you guys are OK.

The problem is real.

During the use of tick charts (especially the 3-tick and 5-tick charts used in the Scalping process), the entire chart moves up and down (instead of just updating the bar), preventing scalping.
Even with the suggested adjustments, the problem persists.

Any recommendations or corrections?

Thanks.

All the best!
Helio

Provide an image of the chart by following these instructions so we can see what studies are on the chart to understand this better:

By the way, how can you detect the movement using a static image as requested?

We want to see what studies are on the chart. Looks like there are none. Not really sure there is any solution to this issue, at least as we understand it. The scale is going to automatically adjust as needed based upon the current range and with 3 trades per bar there can be a lot of scrolling occurring and scale adjustments at times. What you are seeing is based upon actual operational fact. Nothing really wrong.

You could try a Constant Range Scale:
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Scale Range (Scale Settings)

Otherwise, we cannot think of a solution.

I had similar issue, when I had 'Constant Range' + 'Re-Center To The Last Price On Every Update', and fixed by changed to 'Re-Center When The Last Bar Exceeds A Certain Number Of Ticks From The Center' and set the number to 10 (ticks), not sure if your issue would be the same

My chart has 2000 ticks per bar(Number of trades per bar) so probably the issue happening in the 3-tick/5 tick chart is different from mine and I don't really feel like that is normal and based upon actual operational fact, because it's kind of unpredictable.

I've tried to put the same settings that Tony recalled causing him my same problem and I confirm that what is happening with that configuration is almost my exact same problem although for me it's happening while having Automatic Scale Range, not Constant Range.

I say "almost" because it seems that with Tony configuration the problem is basically permanent and the chart trembles with every up/down tick, while with my configuration doesn't shake for every tick/every candle.

Sorry for asking again: should I send you a short video?
