May I know which is best display resolution (i.e. Full HD, 2K or 4K) for Sierra Chart?

Don't really have the answer to your question, just share my experience. I have Volume Profile, but don't have more advanced tools like DOM and Foot Print, my screen is 1920x1080, and everything looks great. Also, the vertical scale, gap between bars, bar period type and Intraday Data Storage Time Unit would all affect the smoothness of your chart. For example, VWAP looks very smooth on volume based chart, but looks very ugly on time based chart; VbP looks great on 1-tick or 1-second Time Unit, but looks terrible on 5-second Time Unit. I am using 15" 4K laptop, the bar chart display is fine but the letter is too small and I have already set the "scale and layout" to 250%.

You need to update your Font settings for Sierra Chart, or update the size of the lettering for the specific study you are using. It depends on what you are having issues with. Refer to the following for general Font settings: Graphics Settings: Fonts and Text Appearance And refer to the following for one of the places where font adjustment may occur for a study: Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Line Width For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
