Due to the current situation I had to extend the Date Range (to find S/ R ranges) and now I start with date 2020-01-01. In total I use 6 charts. Use a lot of Rectangles in two charts and a handful of Studies in all chart. The start of the chartbook now takes quite a long time (I use FESX) and as far as I could observe, the data is loaded twice in a row. What advice can you give me to improve the current performance. Many thanks |

The only thing we can do is point you to the following: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often Start with section 30.48 for some general ideas, then expand into the other sections. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

@John - many thanks. 30.5 Go to a chart and select Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings. Set the Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds 0 to use the global setting.
If I enter the value 0, 10 is automatically set. What can be the reason that the charts are loaded twice. After the first load, I see all the charts, but all the charts - except M1 - start again. Could be the reason ==>>Studies? |

The first question is whether the data is actually loading twice. For one thing, after it goes through the process of loading the bar data, then if you have a need for the Market Depth data, then it will load that. Or, if this is a Continuous Futures Chart, then it may be loading multiple contracts for the same symbol which could also look like it is reloading the chart, as each contract will appear as a new loading message. But, it is also possible that it is loading the data twice due to a study. If the above do not apply and you think it is still odd, then get us a copy of the chart by following these instructions for us to take a look: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

This could not be the case: If I enter the value 0, 10 is automatically set. This has never been the case, and it is not even reproducible. We do not see how this is possible. Okay - I am sorry. You are right. I saw this issue in "General Settings"
